Auto Rebalancing
A convenient feature of the Farm Credit Foundations Defined Contribution/401(k) Plan is automatic rebalancing. This online tool automatically brings your investment mix back to your desired asset allocation strategy.
Rebalancing is the process of adjusting your investment balances to bring them back to your original asset allocation. Over time, differences in investment performance may shift your account away from your desired asset allocation strategy. The automatic rebalancing feature lets you choose a rebalancing period of three, six or 12 months. Once you enroll, your existing account balances and future contributions will be automatically rebalanced in line with your desired asset allocation at the frequency you elect.
To enroll in the program online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, go to mylife.newyorklife.com. From the My Investments tab, click on "Investment Election Change" in the "View/Change My Investments" drop-down box. You will find your current investments, their values and percentage of your investment mix. You may also call the New York Life Participant Service Center at 1-800-294-3575 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern time on New York Stock Exchange business days.
