TD Ameritrade Lowers Fees for Online Equity Trades

Beginning June 21, you are eligible to take advantage of a lower commission fee on all online equity trades for you TD AMERITRADE account through the Foundations 401(k) plan. You will now be charged a flat fee of $9.99 for every equity trade made online, regardless of account balance or how many shares you trade. With this new lower fee, you can save money on your online investment decisions, helping you move closer to reaching your retirement goals.
The $5 fee for limit, stop and stop-limit orders also has been removed. If you have a self-directed brokerage arrangement, you should have received a letter from TD Ameritrade to inform you of this change.
